Positive Growth

There are many times in life when we simply want to “grow.” I work with people to identify their strengths and values and make lifestyle changes to match their desires. We all have the capacity for compassion, curiosity and creativity.

Depressive Disorders

Depressive disorders often involve symptoms of sadness and irritability. A person may also lose interest in pleasurable activities and have changes in sleeping and eating patterns. Symptoms can interfere with
work and other parts of a person’s life. There is no one cause of depressive disorders and men and women may have different expression of symptoms. Click on this link to learn more.

Generalized Anxiety Disorder

Generalized Anxiety Disorder of GAD is characterized by excessive, exaggerated anxiety and worry about everyday life events. People with symptoms of GAD tend to always expect disaster and can’t stop worrying about health, money, family, work or school. In people with GAD, the worry often is unrealistic or out of proportion for the situation. Daily life becomes a constant state of worry, fear and dread. Eventually, the anxiety so dominates the person’s thinking that it interferes with daily functioning, including work, school, social activities and relationships. To learn more, click here.
